SEPTEMBER SESSION!

In Fuerteventura the climate is always very mild. Warm winter and not too hot summer!
So, we would say any months of the year is perfect to visit the island and to surf!
But (of course there is a "but"), when september comes something changes in the air. The sunset become more vivid, the beach become less populated and most important thing, the north shore starts pushing with waves again!
So, we definitely love september: warm water, big waves for the more experienced on the north shore and clean and gentle one for the beginner who are standing up for their first time on a surf board.
Are you already thinking to book you surf lesson for the next september? ;)
As usual i leave some photos from the last surf sessions with Home Grown Surf School.
Keep on surfing!

HOT HOT HOT

Hola Surfers,
hot, hot, hot....yes...it's been very hot in Fuerteventura!!
Luckly we have the night breeze to keep our parties a bit fresh:)
We have been very busy lately, now it's the busiest moment of the year that means lots of boys and girls from all over the world joining the Home Grown Surf Camp to surf and enjoy our beaches, waves and life!
The past few days we had a nice ground swell that allowed us to surf nice gentle green waves on the west coast and a nice right point on the north shore (for the advanced surfers of the surf camp).
To give the idea, have a look at pix below!
Have a nice summer and keep on surfing!

SUMMER TIME IN FUERTEVENTURA!

Hello Surfers,
another day is almost over here in Corralejo. A nice breeze is blowing outside and the guys and girls at the Home Grown surf camp are getting ready to go out: tonight we will have mexican food and live music to start the night with!
Tomorrow looks like is going to be another great day of surfing: smooth and gentle waves on the east coast and a bit bigger on the west! We can't wait!In the past few weeks we have surfed mostly the east coast from Flag Beach going down to Puerto del Rosario. The strong wind swell that hit our coasts made all the spots perfect for both beginner that could practice on the white water and for the intermediate that could try to catch green wave on the line up!
For the next few days the forecast makes us well hope for more days of good surf on our beautiful beaches!!
We'll keep you posted and have a good (endless) summer!

Surfing in Fuerteventura

SURFING IN FUERTEVENTURA
Hello surfers!
This is the usual update from the magic island of Fuerteventura.
Without any doubt this is the season we prefer!
We had a great summer, many boys and girls visited the Home Grown surf school from all over the world, for some of them was the forst experience on a surf board for  many others was a more experienced surf trip, giving the first try on the reef break of the north shore.
Now that the summer is over, it’s time for the bigger winter swell! Since the beginning of september the we had almost everyday good waves, many days have been glassy and just perfect. So far was the best autumn i’ve experienced!
When we say “winter” forget the snow&ice…in Fuerteventura winter means 25°C during the day and around 18 during  the night!
So, if you wanna experience the real endless summer come and visit us!
